This is for Carla's first challenge hosting the WT Thursday challenge. She wanted us to use something retrieved from our trash..I used an old Twinnings tea bag wrapper (Spiced Chai in case anyone is interested). I crumbled it up and used the shiny inside to die cut my chevron. I think this will be a birthday card for my BIL..I'll figure out some connection and write it inside..something about losing one's mind or getting used to the idea of turning such an old age! HA!

You never disappoint, Polly! This is so original and beautifully designed! Love your eclectic style! You can think outside the box. Your card is a terrific masculine card!

I tried to use a tea bag too -- mine didn't work out. So had to go searching for something else. This is awesome Polly!!! Awesome!

I thought I'd read all the Holmes stories often enough that I should recognise the quote - but I don't! Great recycling. Hmm, I'm pretty sure our Twinings insides are shiny on both sides...but then I guess that I usually buy leaf tea. It's a great guy card!

You are just the queen of unique, wonderful cards. The image and sentiment are terrific, and I love your color choices. The metal chevron is fantastic.
