I have a lot of tiny stamps that don'T work well by themselves, so I combine them into one large image. The too bright bg was made with Cara D'Ache supra color II watercolor pencils. First I stamped the one inch SU Happy Hellos stamp, with the tiny face stamp and the tiny flower stamp along the bottom. I doodled some stripped lines, then using some masks, I stamped the TH half circle border on the 2 sides and bottom. I used another TH border stamp along the top. I colored some of the dots with my white gel pen. I am so happy just to have finished a card without a major disaster resulting in a trip to the trash can. Usually somewhere between the last 2 steps, the entire card explodes right in my face...luckily I never had the inclination to be a pyrotechnic specialist. That would be one heck of a fireworks show. Too bright? No! Love it. I was amazed to read that you created this collage of smaller images; I though it was a single stamp with a collage design. You did a fabulous job putting all those images together and knowing where to doodle, etc... Fantastic card! Creative take on the polka-dot & stripe challenge. TFS

You are one crazy fun woman, Francie. So you think it's a good thing you never wanted to be a pyrotechnic pro? Do you feel you have a propensity toward explosions, Francie? Did you ever experience any explosive disaster in your childhood? Just trying to figure out why you don't like explosions, Francie. We need to connect the dots here Francie. Something's going on between your fireworks coloring and your thinking your cards would make for a grand finale pyrotechnic show? Oh forget about it. I just know I love this card. Explosive ready or not? You're just too darn talented.
