hi there,
I am excited to be hosting my first 'official' TLC challenge as a member of the team.
The challenge this week will be:
Stencil Monoprinting.
For this card, I inked the back of my stencil using Distress inks, sprayed with a generous amount of water and then pressed onto my card front. I then stamped the sentiment and scored a line along the outside edge as a border. I also added some sponging and ink splatters for interest.
I hope you can come and play along.
Thanks for looking.

I love this layout with the stenciling on the left side of the card only. That is a great stencil and those soft greens are my favorites! Wonderful sentiment, as well; you have the BEST collection of sentiments!

This is a Fantastic technique!!! Never would have thought of it. And what you've done with it is Exceptionally Beautiful! I love the line you added to the left of the imprint. That really set it off. I have very few stencils, but will have to try this. tfs

You have such a great eye for design, Karen. I like both cards but really like this "strip" idea as the whole background can be a bit overwhelming depending on the colours chosen. I have a pile of rejects that even a layer of vellum won't tame! Thanks for a fun challenge.
