Well, I am back to struggling with watercolor. I need more practice apparently and I need to get more relaxed. This was my third attempt today and I almost gave up completely. In retrospect, I should have masked the flower so that the leaves fit in better around it. I need to keep trying to get the water to paint ratio right. I did end up using some green watercolor paint as I just couldn't get the turquoise and saffron to blend well enough...thus the overworking of the color on the leaves. Oh well. It's a journey.

Kathy, your watercoloring is so delicate and pretty. Great job with the no line technique and while you didn't like your first two tries, well done to keep at it until you were successful! Very lovely!!

First your card is beautiful. I'm glad you are giving this medium a try....it does take awhile to get the feel of just letting the water do it's thing. It's also addictive. Have fun. TFS
