I messed up today. Sigh. I was studying when my neighbor texted me to invite me to take a walk in an hour. I continued with my study and even looked at the clock at 9:30. The study requires some computer work so I headed to my computer and FORGOT all about the walk. Not a thought of it in my head until I heard the jingle of my neighbor's dog bells. I looked at the clock and not only was I five minutes late but I wasn't dressed for walking yet! Sigh. I am hoping this card makes up for it just a bit.
Many of you know that we share our home with an all black feline who features prominently in many of my cards and photo bombs as many photography sessions as possible but we also have a very sweet kitty named Lil Bit. I often look at her and just know that she is thinking, "I am the good one, you know". I thought it would be fun to feature her today, so this is Lil Bit!
It's my goal each week to create a card for the wonderful Featured Stamper challenge even though I might not be able to play along on Sundays. This week's FS483 is the lovely Carla aka Covingtoncrafter and her gallery is full of sweet cards! I found THIS cute card and THIS one. I hope you have enjoyed being our Featured Stamper this week Carla!!
For my design, I played along with Ally's beautiful SC592challenge.
Sabrina's fun WT583 challenge is to have an owl or a cat or both and that fit right in with the inspiration I found in Carla's gallery and my need for an apology card!

Well look at all those challenges you've pulled together, angie. Your card is darling for all those challenges with your Lil Bit as the main focus. Sweet coloring too.

Adorable kitty image and card Angie. Your layout and pretty, bright bg really frame your sweet calico kitty so nicely. Thank you for honoring me with your card!

I am sure your neighbor will wish you mess up more often so she can get more sweet cards to make up for the goof! This is adorable and Lil Bit is surely a sweet kitty if she looks like this one.

What a fantastic card, Angie. You chose such a perfect layout to frame that beautifully colored image...your friend must be thinking it was worth missing the walk to get such a terrific card. Give your kitties extra hugs...our house is so quiet since we lost sweet Dolly the insomniac dog 3 weeks ago. We had 16 wonderful yeard for which we are all grateful. I doubt any dog got as many hugs and kisses s she did over the years. Faved
