Lydia gave us a mix challenge to do loose water colored flowers. My tulips were done petal by petal. Did one petal and let it dry, and went on to the next. They are not as loose as Lydia's video, but I have some bad habits from painting with acrylics, and do brush strokes. Finished with the leaves, and did the banner with a pen and nib using white for the sentiment, and black for the flower stamens . Did a border around the card front. TFL

Oh, I love these dreamy looking tulips - you did an amazing job of free hand painting these tulips, but then, I am always in awe of your painting! I really like the contrast the black adds to this card.

Oh, another big SIGH! Linda, first of all -- HAPPY BIRTHDAY, sweet friend! Hope you have a wonderful day! And oh my, this is absolutely gorgeous, and I love the color of your tulips. I so drool over your work and examine the strokes and the overall look. This is a stunning card with your coloring, and then I love the layout with the stitched die and how you've added a white line on the black base. Adding just the banner sentiment was brilliant -- and your hand-drawing on that is amazing! Big birthday hugs, sweet friend! xoxo
