I am so far behind with this week's challenges!! I'm just responding to Allison's (thecircleguru) sketch challenge, SC589, which was great, as usual!
This is my first card created with the ODBD's April release of it's sewing/quilting products. I initially was intimidated by all the die cut pieces for the "quilt". I'm not one who quilts so I wasn't sure how to arrange the pieces. However, I got through the process unscathed!
I do not have a scallop border die of the size needed, so I had to improvise by cutting and gluing border pieces together for the sketch.
The card was fun to create, but it took me quite some time because of all the small pieces. But it is worth it! If interested, closeups of the card and further details can be found on my website.
TFL and commenting!!

Oh Bev! It was well worth the wait my friend... it's stunning! I love the quilted feel of the inner panel! Beautifully done! Thanks for joining the sketch challenge this week!

Oh, Bev, how did I ever miss this beautiful card? I so love it and appreciate all the fussy piecing you've done using this intricate die. I have this myself and have not braved it yet, but I must after seeing this. It's stunning, sweet friend, truly gorgeous! Hugs! xoxo
