Sabrina gave us a challenge about Ads. The card for today is for my husband, and the jingle that John Deere came to me as a perfect card for him. Stamped and colored the tractor. There is nothing more dear to a farmers heart than his tractors. Tom's choice always had been the John Deere brand. Even to this day we have a smaller version of a John Deere in our non farm garage. There is no question in my mind (and although I can't speak for anyone other than myself) and probably many others that see your work at that of a true artist, Linda. Your painting is so wonderful. It makes for such a great card. We have a John Deere around here and lots of little john deere memorabilia. That all started when my husband and I were dating. We'd go to visit some family in the country and whenever he'd see a john deere said, he'd always ask me 'what does that sign say.' It was his way of getting me to say he was so dear to me. It's sort of a joke with us. When I was in sales with a large territory, I used to be near a JD plant and I stopped in one day and bought him a child's sized tractor and another time, a child's sized fire truck. we're a john deere family here for sure.

That picture is such a perfect representation of farm life! I want to come and sit on that tractor and just watch the chicken peck for bugs and I'd eat an apple out of the basket while I watch the sunflower grow! So calm and peaceful feeling. Green and farms do that for me.
