Hello, Well, I painted two of these this morning, this one where I wet the entire blossom ball and tapped the two colors, the other one I painted each small flower inside the ball separately...I decided I liked this sort of free form one better. I am not a water colorist and need lessons but every once in a while I get it into my head to try!! LOL! I used Peerless water colors. The ribbon is seam binding unevenly dyed and wrinkled while drying then tied in a triple loop on my bow maker.
thanks for looking!

It turned out lovely, Robin! These colors are perfect for a hydrangea & I can't believe it didn't even occur to me...probably because mine haven't bloomed yet.

Oh, Robin, this is beautifully done, and I love your loose watercoloring, which is very much like what Tiffany did with his stained glass - have the colors flow into each other like you have with the flowers into the leaves! I love it! Hugs, my friend! xoxo

This is just spectacular, Robin. The touches of color on the leaves is so pretty. Need lessons????? ...you can teach this technique. I love your bow. I never thought of making my own crinkled seam binding. Faved.
