Super challenge! I love monochromatic cards & I love this soft teal color. This is one of my fave pieces of polka dot paper & it was kind of a trial & error to find ink to match.
I used a brand new Star Quilt image & Star Quilt die..technically, they don't go together for die cutting, but I found a way to use the die to emboss the stamped image & get that stitched look. I took some pics to explain it & you can see them on my blog.
Some fancy die cutting was also done on one of the star quilt images & it may surprise you, but this card actually only took one half sheet of white & 1 6x6 pc of the polka dot paper & it's not as many layers as it looks because each successively smaller layer was cut out of the larger one
