What a dreamy challenge you thunk up Cathy! I love all things celestial. There is nothing like being miles and miles away from any light pollution and star gazing as you drift off to sleep, cozy in a sleeping bag.
I immediately thought of this wonderful old illustration which has been translated into a stamp by LaBlanche. Doesn't she look blissful in repose? This was inked with the VersaFine onto white cs and then I cut a mask and overstepped with Stampland's 'Starry Night' bg. Brushos were mixed and sponged onto the stamp. I LOVE the random way it came out. I had to stamp it twice for the size panel.
My little 'shroom' family were inked with the Archival 'Sepia' and then colored with Copics. They are set up above the larger mushrooms on zots. And the sentiment was inked onto a fancy die label. Shimmery cs base...and here she is...dreaming away...
There is no age limit on dreaming nor quantity limits...my grey matter is constantly being renewed with the freshness of dreams...how about YOU?
Thanks so stopping by today...your comments mean so much to me and my art.

Fantastic composition and I enjoy reading your thought process as much as I enjoy seeing your creations! Outstanding background, Susan and love the images!

This is wonderful, Susan! I kinda have a 'thing' for photographing mushrooms - perhaps a bit weird, but there are so many kinds and colors. Guess I'm just easily entertained by nature. This card speaks to me - luvin' the little girl napping under the mushroom.

I love your "shroom" family with the little girl in a state of tranquility! What a peaceful scene. The images are gorgeous with the beautiful background. Great card!!
