This card is going to Cheryl who is facing health issues. My grandmother use to quilt and in the corner of her quilts she always used silver thread to write God Bless. When I asked her why she always said "God is the thread that holds everything together". That has been my motto in life and so I thought this would be perfect to put on this card.

Oh, Ruthie, this is beautiful, and I just love the designer paper with the wonderful and colorful sewing accessories! And, yes, God is indeed the "Thread" that holds us all together, and I can personally attest to that this past year plus. God is so good! I love the wonderful sewing brads you found at JoAnn's, and I love the measuring tape across the bottom! Beautiful! I am so touched by your coming to the tea party for me! I am so encouraged and feel so loved. Thank you, sweet friend! xoxo

What a lovely story about your grandmother, Ruthie! Your ruler sticker looks like an old and much-used inch tape, just perfect. And you had great paper to use, too - much prettier than the sewing-related ones I have!!
