"I had oodles of time, a well planned idea that worked out just as I envisioned, and this was the perfect crafting experience". I just wanted to see how it felt to say that at least once...in reality, I got part of the idea for this card while trying not to blow over as I stood in the yard with Dolly the insomniac dog at 2am with the Santa Ana winds blowing at gale force strength and the outside temperature was 80°. The rest of the creation of this card was downhill from there. This is for today's CAS364 which is to use the letter from LOVE in the card. Here is what I thought of (very uninspired, but considering the circumstances, it is a wonder I could even get one letter right).
L- LACE boarder punch
O- OLIVE green
V - VINES of leaves
E - EMBOSSING folder
I had made a similar card ages ago, but the flower was very puffy and fragile, making it hard to mail. This is much more postal friendly. TFL, Francie

Wowzers, Francie. This is sooooo gorgeous. I love ALL of it. Those sunflowers are out of this world and so are the butterflies. Spring/Summer is bustin' out all over. Fav'd

When I lived in CA I always wished I lived near the Santa Ana winds instead of the tulley fog! I can't say that I miss those 80 degree evenings though. so the first part was a miracle and the second part was down hill from there? Now how did you come up with that statement. There's nothing downhill about this card, despite your insomnic dog wandering around the by at 2 am. I think it's gorgeous from beginning to end, silly woman.
