Hello, Well for the IC today there were fingernails painted in EVERYthing imaginable even little birdies. I had this Steampunk Hummer for a while and decided that it is a birdie plus it would make a great guy card, especially for my hubby since he loves hummers (and birds in general). I was lazy and used an embossing folder for my bg. I painted it black after embossing and wiped off the excess leaving black in the crevices. Then I finger painted with my Inka Gold in gold and copper so that I could just rub on a little. I let it all dry thoroughly then rubbed it to a shine. For my Hummer, I Copic'ed him in sort of hummer colors with some copper and gold too. My heart is embossed with a die from Susanna's Custom and also die cut with Little B's "love you" words. I decided to die cut the black mat too to let the metal show through but I think that was a mistake looking at it now.
The bg is a bit busy but I hope he likes it anyway. Here is my inspiriation from the Pinterest board...love birds.
Thanks for looking!

I'm such a fan of steam punk and have yet to master it! You my friend, did a spectacular job of it! Love that background and I sure don't call using an embossing folder lazy. I love the way you made it look metallic! Wonderful Valentine for him!
