Hi, I stamped my (OLD) image with dark brown ink then used a Starbucks packet of coffee (hated to waste it so I also made a cup of coffee to drink while I painted). I did a coffee wash over the entire image then used only very strong coffee to add some detail. I used a bit of watered down paint for the water and Pagoda. I cut the image out leaving a tan frame of about 5/8" all the way around and used Walnut stain on the edges to make it look old like what might be in a museum. I also splattered some strong coffee on after edging with the walnut ink. see here
I used more than just that image for inspiration but that is good enough to give you an idea.
I used gold crinkle paper from a Japanese origami pack and also a piece of left over Graphic 45 and a piece of regular? Japanese paper cut in a strip (the red and gold). I used another piece of the tan that I used for the image as a base for my card. The writing and the red "seals" are from Hero Arts.
Thanks for looking!

Robin, all three of your pieces are works of art. This is my favorite, your coloring, paper combination and the coin make this so authentic. I'd expect to see it in a museum!
