I made a baby card for friends. They are the grandparents of baby Ida. I used the tutorial again I once saw on the Top Tip Tuesday blog made by Deneen and posted on 23/06/2015: http://apathofpaper.blogspot.be/2015...challenge.html
Unfortunately the link to the tutorial does not work anymore.
The base is just a piece of landscape paper folded in two and scored then into 3 equal parts .
When you open the page you see 6 rectangles.
Cut the paper in half horizontally along 2 rectangles (you can also divide the 2 other rectangles on the right side in half, but I didn't )
Now you have to fold it up and close the pocket(s).
As a result you get a flap on the left side and another flap on the right, and the pocket(s) in between.
The first photo shows you my little book closed.
I used pink Pp from Leanne Creatief that I had in my stash for a really long time !
It has dotted and checked motifs.
For decoration on the front I punched the 4 corners and added the Marianne Design die cut: Tinys Hearts CR1251.( first use)
The second photo shows the back of my little album with the text die cut baby: LR0217.
On the 3th photo you can see the flaps closed with the pocket and insert on the right side.
For decoration I used the baby Carriage die LR0218, CREAlies corner die 17 and punched butterflies from Martha Stewart.
On the 4th photo you can see the right flap closed and the pocket with insert on the left side.
Here I used for decoration the Marianne design die My First Shoes LR0303 and the CREAlies corners in plain form.
On the inside of the flaps I added some photo's of the sister and brother of little Ida.
The sentiment stamps are from Marianne Design and Joy crafts;
