Well, it certainly is unusual for me to make a Christmas card as my first for the year but, seeing this challenge called for snow, a Christmas card it is! Here in Australia, of course, we are in our Summer and the weather is beautiful but quite humid!
I started with this sweet image, recycled from a card I received a few years ago. Believe me, this image is set in the snow with snowflakes falling - I hope you can see - my DH wouldn't believe me when he looked (he had had a glass red wine!!).
I framed this image, using a negative die cut I had lying around, and sprayed with the glimmer mist. Once dry, I lightly sponged frame with gumball green inkpad. I then coated gumball green c/s with a thin layer of gesso and, before drying, used a sponge to give a snowy kind of look.
Added the red ribbon, green sticky dot and sentiment. I also lightly distressed edges.
TFL!

What a cute cute card -- I love this and the freshness of it; It is so bright and cheerful!
