This is for 3 challenges...the sketch, CAS (it's a relative term, lol), & the Technique. For the CAS, it was to use Christmas greens. I used only greensÂ…5 shades of green from a Kaleidacolor ink pad. And since I really didnÂ’t color anything & itÂ’s all die cuts, it really was easy. For the Technique, we were to use small stamps to create something. I used 3 small images to make the large circle & a small greeting to make the border. I just eyeballed the placement & it worked out pretty good. For the sketch, I did a little finaglingÂ….I rotated it counterclockwise, my panel 5 is a bit larger to accommodate the snowman & my greeting is also round.
Everything was stamped w/ the fresh greens rainbow pad onto water color paper (thatÂ’s why it isnÂ’t bright white). For the snowman, I used a water brush to drag the color in for shadows then dried it & over stamped w/ the same ink to sharpen the details again. The panels were all die cut & I used the same inks & water brush to add color to the edges. A little stickles was added along w/ a glittery round embellishment I colored green w/ a Copic (it was clear).
Thanks so much for looking! Closeups & the inside are on my blog: The Write Stuff

You get more creative day by day, Julie. I read how you created your card and am truly amazed. To me, and probably not to you,it looks like this card took an inordinate amount of time to figure out how to put all 3 challenges together. I'm rightly impressed.

Julie, you did a FABULOUS card to combine the three challenges. Love the bright shades of green that you chose. And, as was explained a week or so ago....CAS is what YOU make it....so no qualms there. Lovely design with the snowman and accompanying snowflakes.
