I saw a beautiful card by Julee Tilman (Vervegirl) and wanted to try one. The watercolor paper was embossed with an Anna Griffin emb folder, then I used a versamarker on the snowflake like images and embossed with clear ep. Broken china and chipped sapphire distress inks were applied to an acetate sheet, misted with water and then the embossed panel was pressed into it. The clear embossed images slightly resisted the inks, but I wasn't as successful as Julee was with her card. I wrapped gold thread around and tied on the die cut tag. The piece was framed with night of navy and I used cool Caribbean as the card base, as it matched better. Here's the link to Julee's card. Mixed Snowflakes by Vervegirl at Splitcoaststampers

How beautiful! I love all the layers of work that went into this card, and that gold thread is magnificent!!!
