F4A302 = use wrapping paper. I used a copper foil paper as the back panel.....nothing fancy or creative.
MIX149 =Jump Start. I used this technique presented by Dina as well as her excellent tutorial for this week.
Side note: So there's no confusion: Some of the pine needles were done with watered down white acrylic paint. On the ornament itself, the highlights are the white of the watercolor paper(a true watercolor technique)....nothing was added to make the highlight(like paint). ; )

Oh, Sallie, this is gorgeous, and I truly love the softness of your strokes in the greenery that really give it such depth and beauty! And I agree that the strokes in your wrapping are mimicked in your artwork. Truly one of my favorites! Hugs!

My first thought when I saw this card was "how did Sallie do that gorgeous background?" - never would have guessed it was wrapping paper. It's beautiful - the perfect backdrop for the lovely ornament. I'm off to check out my wrapping paper box!

No confusion here because I read Dina's tutorial, Sallie. I call this an Outstanding Christmas card, certainly not ordinary by any means! You tackled these challenges and came out a Winner! What A Beauty~

The copper serves to being out the blue and green in your gorgeous watercoloring - I think I could study your cards forever, and still never be able to replicate them in the slightest, they are all so beautiful!!
