Barbara chose the lovely colors of rose red, hello honey, garden green - desert is Christmas. I used Zig Real Color markers in colors as close as I could approximate. Embossed the poinsettia, watercolored the flower, and used a light gray as my neutral (around the flower) to give the flower a little depth. Then I splattered some of the same colors (diluted), and matted the main panel. Come and join in the challenge - you may be our next favorite!!

Yes, Maura, we were on the same wavelength....make a watercolored card the quickest way possible. : ) As Holstein said on my card (referring to yours too)....looks like a glass mosaic. Your intense colors are beautifully done.

Beautiful water coloring, Maura! The spritzing of the color on the bg really fills it in nicely.
