I haven't made 2 cards in a week for awhile, well, excluding the frenzied card making blitz for HYCCT. I had so many "orphans" from my struggles with the first CC card that I decided to makeep another CC card. The die cut rectangle with the dry wall tape sponged design is from the first card. Then I searched through my collection of stamped but uncolored images for something that fit. After reading Susie's fantastic talltale, I just had to make a card for this week's MMTPT to use snow. After coloring the image with copies and adding snow tex, the angEl looked like she was floating on a cloud. A trip to the freezer for my tree bark collection solved the dilema. I have mentioned my frequent close encounters with trees during my lunchtime park walks...too absorbed in all of nature's beauty to notice the giant tree looming ahead of me. I keep the bark in the freezer in case a creepy crawly has stowed away for a vacation at my house. Just a thought...if you are the teapotter that gets this card, you might want to keep it in the freezer.

Oh, am I hoping I'm the Teapotter that gets this card! Your angel is so adorable, and your coloring is fantastic! Love that you made the branch from the real thing - that is SO cool!
You are so darn creative!

Angel in the clouds, lol. Bark in the freezer, big LOL. If I kept it int he freezer, someone might actually eat it. I keep bird seed in the freeze but not bark. Hmmm...if it means I don't have to make dinner, it might be worth it.

This is so cute and I can totally relate to this angel..we're expecting snow tomorrow for Thanksgiving so my guests will likely come in with snowy feet! I like how you did the sponged bg and the snowy evergreen boughs are great..no problem here with freezers...I could tape it to the outside of my window ;) Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours!

Oh, Francie, you are so funny, and seriously! This is beautiful and jumps out of the gallery! I love how it "was born" and had help from something from your freezer! And it's really gorgeous and so realistic. Just the sweetest angel, and again, your coloring is beautiful! Thanks for the giggle! Hugs!
