I decided to make another card for Lee's CAS challenge this week: Time to Hibernate.
Use a critter that hibernates or something that keeps you warm, such as a scarf or blanket. Bears hibernate and he is wearing a scarf.
I used distress stain for the background to make it look like a snowy day. The falling snow is made with Winsor & Newton water colour (in a tube). I die cut the trees and added acrylic paint for snow that was sticking to the trees. After coloring the image, I cut it out and placed it.
This will go to my five year old granddaughter. Her mom told me she walked around for the longest time with the last card I sent her. She loved it and that makes me happy.
