Mary is hosting this week's color challenge, and she has chosen the lovely colors rich razzleberry, soft suede, old olive. Desert is to make a Thanksgiving or thank you card.
Stamped the 3 layers of the bird (had to throw in a little pale plum under the razzleberry so it would show up, "stamped off" the razzleberry for the second layer, full strength on the top layer), the leaves, branch, feet and flowers. Die cut my front panel with the stitched rounded rectangle shape (I can't remember what company I got this one from) and then replaced the same stitched panel. Then layered and attached all pieces and sentiment flag. Added stickles on the bird and flowers for that all-important sparkle!

Our resident artist has struck again I see with these 2 cards. I don't know or understand how you do what you do, but I certainly enjoy looking at the end results of creativity gone wild.

Oh my, Maura! This is a stunner. Set her aside for me at your Cards for a Cause sale!! You should make a few more of these! Love the design, the bird, the colors and the layout. Hugs!
