A PINK Baby Girl make for this week's Featured Stamper; ShoeGirl FS454, AKA; Lisa. What a sweetheart and what a fab gallery! Congrats! I've chosen to CASE this lovely Ombre card: Thinking of You by Shoe Girl at Splitcoaststampers
I've kept Lisa's same idea of the technique and layout, but changed theme and added lots of extras with sparkle, embellies, die-cut panels and bunny hugging stamping.
This card is also for the current House-Mouse Challenge themed; "In The Pink" - where we are also showing our support for Breast Cancer Awareness Month: http://housemouse-challenge.blogspot.com/
Mostly created with just ONE die by CE/SW called; "Configurations Lattice Arched Adornment". Other CE dies; Portuguese Collection (Sintra and Porto) were used for holding the image and sentiment panels.
To recreate ShoeGirl's Lacey Ombre effect, I've cut out and layered the "Arched Adornment" die-cuts in gradient shades of pink, layered and adhered cuts side-by-side, separating with Pink satin ribbon rows. At the top of the layers I alternated Pink and White Ribbons to pick up on the white framing.
The sparkle on the paper was created by adding Creative expressions cosmic shimmer glitter to sticky sheets covering the pink CS. Pink and white satin ribbons, beads, pearls, rhinestone bling and 2 hat pins finish-off the look.
This card also fits this month's Dirty Dozen Central Theme "Bucket List", CT1015. I've been very blessed with having 4 wonderful healthy children - after being told as a young adult that I'd never have any of my own... I was fortunate to have a childhood dream come true! God is great!
