I kept the same fall theme, and watercolor medium, as well as a sentiment in the corner, but changed images and colors. I distressed my edges instead of her beautiful stitching and changed one leaf to gold to represent her fence.
I used a watercolor paint wash for the background, laying the paint down with my fingers (for Dina's HYCCT Challenge!) and then stamped the sentiment and top leaf with Onyx Black ink. I came back in and added some more paint to the edges with a brush, as I hadn't spread as much as I wanted. I stamped the second leaf on Vellum CS, and then embossed with Gold Detail Powder. I then cut it out with the matching dies and adhered it to the card panel.
Congratulations and enjoy your week!

Not sure how I missed commenting on your beautiful fall card until now! I love the bright watercolors in the bg, the embossed on vellum leaf and the metallic card base! Thanks again for all your kindness toward me!

Love the contrast of the 2 stamped images, and the watercolor wash in the background... messy fingers... and that sentiment! Love love love. Thank you so much for playing along with my challenge and for supporting Hope You Can Cling To!
