hi there,
Here is my card for the F4A challenge today: Hopeful Change. Great challenge to honor this day! Today, I decide to transform the fading flowers on my geraniums into a pressed image on my card front. What was dying has found new life!
I took leaves and flowers, laid them onto my watercolour paper and ran it through my Cuttlebug. I added a bit of shading with my watercolour pencils and stamped the sentiment.
Thanks for looking,

Today is a tough one for me. It is the last day that I saw my Dad before he passed away and I remember this day and watching as the planes hit the towers. Just a surreal moment.

Wow, do I ever love the effect you got from your geranium flowers - I really have to try that technique. I'm sorry to hear that today is a hard one for you - my father is 91 and my mother 89, and neither are in great health so every time I go back to Toronto to visit them, I worry that it will be the last visit.
