Here is another card I made for today's colour challenge - given to us by Barbara - colours are - rose red, mint macaroon, tip top taupe and the desert option is to use ribbon.
I also wanted to try Sabrina's Technique challenge - Cathedral Window Patchwork - as I received a beautiful Cathedral Window Patchwork card from Sabrina last month
I really love how this turned out. I made a nine patch quilt - used five different papers for my squares. I matted the nine patch with a dark brown. Sewed on the 4 buttons. Created the base card - used a pink checkered paper, next the dark brown card stock and then a pretty DP that had all the colours (close to) of the colour challenge. I sewed around the papers. Stamped my sentiment on all four sides. Popped up the 9 patch panel. Finished the inside of the card.
I really love how this one turned out.
Hugs..Pat

Oh, Pat, this is gorgeous, and being a quilter (well, not actively now!), I just love these and remember making them and even using them as ornaments with cross-stitched motifs inside! Stunning card, and you've really inspired me. It's on my list to do - and it's high! Thanks for sharing this beauty! It's in my faves and pinned! Hugs!

Beautiful cathedral quilt card, Pat. I admire you....I wouldn't have the patience or the precision to create such a wonderful card. Looks stunning in today's colors.
