The background started out with bisters. Since it was way too bright for winter, I opted to sponge in various memento blues, leaving only a bit of clouds showing. The bird was colored with copics and pencils and fussy cut. After cutting the branch, I used my MISTI to line up the bird on the branch and stamp again for placement. Glossy Accents were added to his eyes. The sentiment is Paper Smooches. Thanks for stopping by.

How cute, Nancy...altho' the little fellow doesn't look too happy that it is the Yuletide season with that expression on his face...despite the perky Santa's hat. : ) Great coloring as always.

ONe of the best Christmas cards ever! So fun and such a lovely feel to it with the bg you made - even those little brown lines look like early morning clouds. I am so amazed by this and the little Santa hat is perfect. Fun, fun, fun!!!!!! Hugz

I really love the way your round birdy body looks somewhat Earth-like. He looks like he could use some peace too! I like the way you sponged the edges and gave the panel a vignette look. Put a smile on my face! TFS

Oh waht a joy it is when you are on a creative roll. When I click on your gallery and see something new, it is lije a little treat. You have the most amazing sense of color...every little shadow and blend of colors seems to be just perfect. The bird and hat are colored so well. Your bg is just perfect with the darker edges and mysterious clouds. Another addition to my favs.
