Welcome Carey as our new sketch challenge hostess. I love her curvy sketch for us. I thought this would be a perfect way to make a bunch of meal thank you notes in a jiffy and I had the perfect dp combo....ya gotta love dp that is designed to work together! I cut my 4 pieces of dp into 4x5 1/4" pieces and stacked them together. I used light pencil to trace out my curves and then cut through the stack together. I cut 4 pieces of white cs and then glued the mixed pieces of dp onto each one. I diecut my letters and then inlaid those into different pieces for 4 quick cards. I used Pool Party bases for each. I stamped my kitchen utensils after inking with markers.
Sorry to always be talking about my mom, but her cancer has become the center point of my life right now. Her cancer has taken another turn and she's now in palliative care after 2 new brain tumors were found. Hard to believe we're at this point but ready or not here we are. This was a quick way to make a bunch of thank you notes ahead as people are already asking about and taking meals and prepared foods over to my folks.

Gail, this card really caught my eye as I really loved the look of that DSP. It's so bright and cheery. Then, I read your note. I did not know how things were going. Just take it a day at a time. My heart is with you. Sending prayers.

Great idea to switch out the papers and make four cards at once. Great thank yous for a dinner party or something especially. I did not know about your mom until now, Gail, but reading these comments, my heart and prayers are with you!

First of all Gail, I am so very sorry to hear your Mom is not doing well. Will keep you all in my thoughts and prayers. Secondly, really, I just am blown away by these cards of yours. How cool those inlaid letters are. This is just an awesome card.

What a delightful set of cards...such a creative way to use so many patterns. I have so much dsp sitting around, and know that I should make some sets. This has inspired me!
Prayers for your mom!
