A big congrats to Jo Ann! What a fab gallery of easel cards! I chose THIS card to case. I kept the fun cowgirl theme w/ the little yellow flowers (I laughed so hard at her greeting, lol) but I used different images, different papers & instead of an easel I did a different technique.
I did what I call an "into the window" treatment. A little like out of the box, but it goes the other direction. After stamping & coloring her with Copics, I die cut it first using the larger die, then used a craft knife to cut around the top and sides in order to slip the lower left corner of the smaller die under her. ( I have step by step pics of this on my blog).
I added the die cut greeting I colored w/ Copics and had the tail end of the lasso around the moon.
Congrats again, Jo Ann! Thanks so much for looking! Closeups, Copic colors & mini tutorial on my blog: The Write Stuff

I always love your out of the box technique, and it looks so terrific in reverse. What a fantastic choice of colors you used. The colored sentiment with the rope is wondergul. Another addition to my pinterest board.
