While crafting with Jody, we decided to try Heather T's technique of watercolor stamping. I colored the stamps with distress markers and some of her Spectrum Noirs aqua markers, spritzed and stamped. Had my usual unrecognizable image. Took a paint brush and tried to paint in more detail and shading. Then tried for a soft wash in the background and basically covered the whole card. Add chunky embossing powder, a gift from Peggy and so much easier than splattering. Thank you Peggy! Used pencils to bring back a little definition and accent the center of the blossom. Thanks for stopping.

Nancy, this is gorgeous. It has a very dreamy essence that takes it back without losing it's focus - it's just beautiful. Not only is this a lovely "Thinking of You" card, it would also make a very nice "Sympathy" card as well. The watercolor background is such a nice backdrop especially in the same color palette. Top notch card my friend!
P.s. I feel your pain with the splattering. I am splatter challenged *haha*

Oh my - this is soooo lovely - glad you kept adding some strokes and stuff and liked it so we could have a chance to see it too. How fun you got to play with another avid creator (I am so jealous). Super card - into my faves. Hugz

I have filled an entire trash can with watercolor stamping failures. No many how many attempts to save them, I always have a nondescript blob. Yours, on the other hand, turned out stunning. The colors are so pretty and your flower is lovely. It has a wonderful, dreamy feel.
