I finally got my shower card made! (Hey I'm early; the shower's not til one and it's only 11!) Yesterday I ran out of energy-another funeral for our little church has pastor DH and I running on low. When I saw these cute coasters from the inspiration site I knew I wanted to go with these colors. The shower invite was a library theme with newsprint and a library envelope as both bride and groom are teachers so I incorporated some of those elements into the sketch. I used my ef on a base piece of Vanilla and sponged to reveal the design. I also sponged the edges of all my layers and around my hearts. I have new SU goodies to play with including these three sets as we head into wedding season. I stamped my vertical panel in black. For my sentiment on the file tag piece, I used my SAMJ to position the sentiment and also markers because the sentiment is stacked not in a line. I added my print hearts to the horizontal panel popping the one on which I stamped. This whole piece is double popped over the main panel which is popped over the base. I also crumpled some ribbon for this piece to head more into the shabby direction.

Wow, if I were handed a kit with what you have used on this card, I would still be standing there looking at it. This is one beautiful card so well designed and stamped. OMGosh, I'd hate to let this one out of my hands. Just sayin...
