Congratulations to this week's Featured Stamper, Mary J (maryj6. Mary has a beautiful gallery with lots of variety in her style, and she sure can color! I started coloring this cute little bear on Sunday but got busy this week and did not finish it. So when I saw this week's Sketch Challenge, I took advantage of that. The bear is the same Mary's "James," but my bear is working on his laptop - ah, how cute! I chose this card because I loved her little teddy bear James from Lili of the Valley. I changed the layout and have my bear in a square frame, and added a sentiment to the right rather than centered. After coloring my "chocolate" teddy (teddies come in a range of yummy colors!), I chose my DP and then kept to the sketch adding some perle cotton and a button. I added a small scalloped border and did some paper-piercing. This card will be headed to New Jersey to thank our youngest son for visiting us last week. We had a wonderful time, and he is very techie (like his dad) and will hopefully get a chuckle out of James. (And our son has also seen my collection of teddy bears - quite the family I have here!)
Thanks for taking a closer look, and I hope you like it. Have a great week! For more, visit my blog.

Of course you know who I thought of when I saw this little cutie *tehe* Our own sweet Teddy bear. Cheryl, this is another adorable card superbly colored. I love the layout, especially the thread and button which is such a darling way to embellish a masculine card. I think your son will love the fact you've acknowledged his love of all things "techie". Who can resist (she smiles). Teddy would be on a laptop/computer/calculator - anything techie if he were allowed to. But mama and papa put limits on those things right now. I smiled to myself as I continued to read your write-up. It's amazing Cheryl how many things you and I have in common (smiling). I too have a large Teddy bear collection. We bring them out to play at Christmas. Beautiful, sentimental, and full of love. Lovely card my friend.

Cheryl this little guy is just too cute! Love the soft colors on the dp you have used. He looks confused with the technology but I bet he is better at it than I am. So sweet!
