Wendy's challenge April showers bring May flowers. My card is for a neighbor gal that will be going to the prom next week. She lost her Mom last fall...so I try to send her an encouragement card now and then. I stamped the image, and then let the paint and brush do their thing. Added some dots in the flower centers. We are having beautiful weather...the 70's.

Linda, this is such a fantastic image with the flower hemline on that dress! And the girl has a modern look that would appeal to a young lady. How dear of you to be there to encourage this girl. It makes me think of the wonderful woman who lived next door to my BIL and nephews when my dear sister died. The boys were then teenagers and the neighbor (whom I am still friends with) was always running over with baked goods or calling them over to have waffles for brunch in the summer. She was such a blessing in their lives! It has been 25 years ago now, and my nephews still talk about that lovely woman.

Linda, just WOW! Your painting is just amazing, right down to the shadowing in the folds of that dress! I'm also intrigued by your partial no line coloring, as if the dress were hand painted. WOW, this is fabulous!

How lovely, Linda! Your image is so pretty and I adore the green color and flowers all around the hem. How funny your weather is pleasant and warmer..it's just been awful here all week long. Rainy, cool, gloomy.
