I started by doing an alcohol ink background using the Agate technique. Love alcohol ink backgrounds because they dry so fast. Die cut a pot and did a paste emboss using a dot stencil on it. Die cut the stem for the wolly dots, the sentiment, and the Hummingbird. Punched the foliage and tiny flowers. For the Wooly Dots, I pulled a cotton ball till it was fairly flat then ran it through a circle border die. This worked even better than I had hoped: one side was flat and stiff and the other side remained "fluffy". I cut off the ends of the die cut piece and glued the flat sides of the dots to the stem ends. Dies: SB/Flower Pots, MB/Flutter Vine, CL/Tiny Wings Punches are MS/branch and Recollections/sm flower.
BTW: those wooly dots remind me of spider egg nests - gross!

Too funny about the spider egg nest! What a clever way to do those wooly dots, Priscilla! Love that gorgeous background and the paste on the flower pot! How cute this is!
