hi there,
Here is my card for the WT challenge today. Linda asked us to determine if we are a 'tortoise or a hare' when creating our cards. Well for me, most of the time I have to be a hare since I have limited time while my little daycare kiddos are sleeping.
This card took me under 30 mins to make especially since I was drying the Bisters with a heat gun after spraying with water.
Linda asked us to share some hints if we had any. One tip would be to use Stazon ink when stamping over a painted surface. I find that I get a dark enough image that way. I find if I ink my stamp with Versamark ink first it is easier to clean off the Stazon ink.
The other tip I would give is not to over-think the whole thing. I used to do that all the time and it used to stress me out. Play and have fun!
Thanks for looking,

edited: I have had people telling me that they are finding the Bisters to be messy. I haven't had that really. I didn't poke a hole in the top of my little containers but instead I scoop out a tiny bit using a dry paint brush. You could do this all in a box and spray with water in the box to contain the mess but I haven't found it necessary to do that.

Gorgeous, mf! Great tips! I still ponder quite a bit, but I definitely have made improvements is trying to not over think things. I hit a new record the other day & made 3 cards in about 4 hours. My tape gun was smokin' !!
Love your card. I haven't been able to find Bisters but I use Lindy's Stamp Gang's Magicals in much the same way. Wish I could make a card in 30 minutes! I messed with one card all day yesterday and was practically in tears by nightfall thinking it was a "lemon". I looked at it this morning and I quite like it so I think sometimes I forget I'm just doing this for fun!

I just love the bit of script that shows through, Karen. How beautiful this card is!

P. S. I just saw that you used your Brusho's too:-) Probably the more vibrant blue and the brown. Am I right? I poked a hole a couple of times into the top of each pot with my paper piercer, so I can control the amount of color. I also use my non stick craft sheet, spritz with water and shake on the Brusho crystals (more like a course powder). I often use my palette knife to blend the Brusho into the water then quickly press a section of my W/C paper into the colored water. Best to dry before adding another color. Sheet wipes clean with a paper towel. Gosh, getting carried away with my description! Hugs, Nancy
