I provided a watercolor wash to the sky and painted the trees using watercolor paints. I then created the fields of flowers with acrylic paints using the colors for Tuesday's challenge. No matter how hard I tried, I could not capture the detail of the flowers with my camera. Now you may ask, how does this painting fit with the Ways to Use it Challenge "Lucky Charm?" Well, my lucky charm has always been a small smooth pebble that I carry in my pocket. I have carried it throughout my adult life wherever I go. Now, a card with just a stone would have been difficult to make interesting so I painted a pebbled country road in spring!

Kate, this is wonderful! Love your watercoloring. The paved stone walk is essential to the design and fits perfectly with today's challenge. Today's winner for certain.

This is beautiful Kate - it reminds me too of the saying that the road to a friend's house is never long. There is beauty on all sides of your path, lovely. tfs

What a wonderful creation - it caught my eye straight away. Reminds me of a painting by Van Gogh - I think its the way you have created the picture with all the tiny brush strokes. I think this is so very well done.
Congratulations.
