This card first covers the Scene in a Circle the the TLC, and I used the eagle for the Teaparty card this week for a fellow stamper, Julie Gearinger's husband, to whom we are sending our cards this week - see his story HERE
I printed up an eagle, since Dave has this on his bucket list to see one, then I cut out the 2 circles - one for the front DP and another one from Choc Chip, stamped the mountains for the BG of my scene and sponged in a sunset. Next, colored the eagle with my copics - and popped it up on dimensionals so he is a little "out of the 'box' (circle) with his wing tips. Printed the sentiment on my computer, as well as a related Scripture for the inside, sponged and attached with a button and some twine! The card seems very plain to me, but I don't think it is really a CAS, since there is quite a bit on it, but am including it in that challenge, but I will make another card for the CAS challenge tomorrow. I am also going to include for Dave some pictures I took of an eagle in the wild in Juneau, while I was on a trip to Alaska a few years back. At least he will have pictures of a real life eagle to stare at!!
Thanks for looking and have a beautiful day!!

How beautiful, and such a pretty time to see an eagle soar in the sunset. It must have been so awesome to see them that close and take pics. Such a sweet idea for Dave. A super guy card. Love the wood bg too, I always do, so warm, countryish....new word of day...lol..TFS....HUGS....I wanted to mention your beautiful colored and fussy cut eagle too....lovely and well done, and like how it is sitting out of the box too like he is flying away... for supper...:0)

Sue, this is an outstanding card. You really achieved some wonderful movement when your trimmed, and tipped up the eagles wing outside the circle. Very nice. All your choices are so complimentary. Beautiful card.

This is lovely, Sue. The eagle looks like he is carved from wood. The out of the box look with the wings is a terrific idea. A very nice masculin card.

Sue, this is outstanding!!! I am in love with your coloring and your scene you created and Dave will just love this card. That soaring eagle is so stunning and I sure wish I could soar right along with him.

What a totally amazing masculine card. Your coloring is awesome and the way you have designed and executed this card is VERY impressive. There are so many wonderful elements from the sponged sunset, added mountains, wood grain background and button with twine. A favorite for sure!

Your card is so pretty and Dave is going to love it. I love the image, the wings look like fringe, which is an awesome look. You have made a great layout to show case it.
