F4A261 = St. Pat's card using a technique. I used two: die cut stencil, masking fluid resist
QFTD250 = Kecia(LittleSeaOtter). Stunning gallery with beautiful coloring her signature. I chose this CARD of hers for inspiration.
I got the idea for the image panel for my card from Dina's MIX challenge for today. My card does not qualify for that challenge since I did not make it a collage. I started with the Kraft base, flicked on the masking fluid, did several acrylic and water washes. Made a stencil by using die cuts with acetate. Started sponging with TH inks and more acrylic paint, layering as I went. Sprayed with Mr. Huey's shine, rubbed off the masking fluid and added the sentiment with VM and gold EP and finally added the gold edge.
Congratulations, Kecia.

Wow!! There were a lot of steps involved in making this card. It was all worth it though because your card is amazing! Love how the shamrocks look faded and in the background, but emerge to the top. This is just fabulous and I think the gold really sets it off too!

This is such a piece of art. I'm loving the description of how you built this card, and the end result is gorgeous. Loving the depth and that gold embossing looks stunning.
