I have been looking for this rose pattern in my stash for a while and finally found it yesterday. While rooting in my stash I found some beautiful handmade papers that are at least a thousand years old...well almost ..so decided these things needed to be together. In keeping with my New Years Resolution something old is the beautiful handmade paper and the something new is the rose and the die used to cut the edge of the pink paper. I am not sure who made it..I think Sue Wilson.

I love the rose. I thought for sure YOU made it until I read. The embossing really adds (not that you needed to) and so does the handmade paper. Handmade ANYTHING is good, isn't it. Beautiful card.

Sue, you do such beautiful work with your tatting skills! Wonderful texture on this pretty card....love how you've given your rose center stage by using lots of white space~

Another wonderful card. The tatted rose is stunning and I am so glad to hear that you are sticking to your resolution to use something old - wish I had the same staying power like you do.
