I was working on this card for a challenge on PTI to celebrate their 8th anniversary, when I happened to see the WT for today....music.... and my card fit this challenge too. For the PTI challenge, I chose sketch #7 and color palette #1. The flower was done on watercolor paper with reinkers and an aqua brush, then cut out.

I too did not see your name before opening, and like Vicky as soon as I saw the rose I knew it was yours and scrowled down to confirm - stunning as always Sallie. The rose is so very lovely against the black and the music in behind is lovely. It is such a sentimental card. tfs

That flower is just beautiful, Sallie. And as for the idea of even trying to stamp and emboss a music score in white on black - you are a lot braver and more skilled than I am.

This is amazing, Sallie. The way you watercolored the rose is so stunning...your watercoloring is always exceptional, but this flower is beyond words gorgeous. The black and white bg really sets your rose off well.
