These fun birds from Tim Holtz were a bit bigger than I anticipated so I resized them by stamping and scanning. They are colored with copics and enhanced with pencils. Pan Pastels were used to ground them. The panels behind the main image were created with glossy and the wrinkle free distress technique. I had forgotten to add glossy accents to their eyes but will go back and do that. A few stitches were added. Thanks for stopping by.

GENIUS idea to scan and resize these hilarious "crazy" birds! I was especially drawn to (and REALLY appreciate)the coloring of the birds...VERY impressive! Love the variation in stitching and the great design of this card. The offset panels and rich polka dot design paper in the background create a wonderful framing for these delightful fanciful birds.

This is so fun and cute! Stamping and resizing on the computer was a great idea. You coloring is outstanding - as always and you stitching adds so much interest.

I might have to check your gallery daily, but when you post a card, it is soooo worth waiting for. Every aspect of your cards are perfection. The colors, layout, design and execution of this card is beyond words amazing. I can't get one stitch on a card to work, and you have different typs of stitching in different places that are all fantastic. The coloring on the bird's wing is so detailed and the colors are ideal. Pinned, faved and nominated for a nobel prize in art.

How cute, Nancy! It looks as if she is saying, "WHAT, I'm having another birthday?" Colored so pretty, as usual. Great card!

How fun! What a unique and quirky batch of birds you created. This is adorable. I love how you did the birds and I've never done that bg technique. I need to try it. This is a great card.
