I love the simplicity of our sketch challenge this week(SC524). I made this card using a technique that Jennifer McGuire demonstrates here called faux laser cutting: http://www.jennifermcguireink.com/20...cut-cards.html
It's really quite simple to do - I decided to have my flower branch cover just a section of my heart and I cut it twice - once in white, once w/the dsp - so I could cut out the blossoms and put them on the white branch. Really a fun technique and I could see turning this card into an anniversary or wedding car,d too. Linking to CAS308 because another of my goals is to use more of the dsp that I love, love, love, but seem to hoard more than use.

I've been looking at a new Memory Box heart die with filigree flower cutouts similar to this. After seeing your card, I'm inspired to fashion the dies I already have to create the same effect. Thanks.

This is a darling valentine card! I was just checking out Jennifer McGuire's tutorials today, guess I'll have to go back and check out that faux laser cut.
