A big congrats to Sara, the newest Featured Stamper! She has a lovely gallery and I chose THIS to case. I kept the car theme and layout, but used different images, added the dry embossing and made mine a Christmas card.
After coloring the truck with Copics, I stamped & fussy cut an extra wreath to add on top. The greeting was stamped underneath & I added some dimensional sparkly snow on the ground & stickles on the wreath.
The two patterns of designer paper are actually one double sided piece I die cut using a curved border then flipped one side over. The cobalt blue layer was embossed using a snowflake frame then I used a white chalk marker to go over the raised areas. The snowflake was stamped with the blue ink & fussy cut.
Congrats again, Sara! Closeups & the colors of Copics are on my blog: The Write Stuff

Ack - I love this. I have a truck from Fred She Said that is similar to this and I never thought once to color it as you have! Fabulous Julie - thanks for the inspiration and for sharing.

Love your colouring! I have seen old trucks with just this coloration. Beautiful background treatment. I love your snowflakes! This is a great masculine card. TFS
