Here is my card for the CAS challenge today; trees.
I made the wood grain paper....seriously, it couldn't be EASIER!! TRY IT plse!
Here's what I did....I applied lines of Elmers School Glue onto my cs then when dry, I rubbed my Distress ink pads over that and sprayed with water to blend. Then I scored lines and then stamped the trees with Stazon. Love the look of the woodgrain. May have to give this masculine card to my DS...he loves the outdoors.

Oh Karen, this is breath takingly gorgeous. It reminds me of the trips we took to Yosemite national park with our sons. Your card is so bold and strong it would be perfect for your son. Just stunning...right into my favs.

My- O - My...that worked out so cool. Your son would love it as do I. wonderful bg for the silhouetted trees. Might have to give this a shot...TFS..:0)
------------------------------ We as people are raindrops of colorful ink , falling down Crisp and Clear, each a different shade more vibrant then the last, but once we realize at the bottom of an endless abyss we all fall into the same inkpot forming one color, only then can we come together as one My son.
Stunning!!!! I would like to give the glue technique a try! This is amazing. What color distress inks did you use? I am in love with tilted layers right now! This went straight into my faves!
