For Jen's challenge - it's the next to the last day and HOPE SOARS! As soon as I saw this challenge, I knew the image I was going to used! Remember when you were little and got on a swing to go as high as you could and felt like you were flying with the wind in your face? That is the feeling of exhilaration I hope to convey to a patient with this image."You can do it - just let loose all the Hope in your heart and SOAR!"
The image is a Phyllis Harris from Unity stamps and one of my favorites for a card of encouragement. It is colored with copics, the leaves are diecut and adhered to the upper corner, and the sky is sponged in using the paper towel technique!
Thanks for taking a closer look and have a wonderful weekend!
Make a card for HYCCT and bring a smile to a patient!

Your added die cut leaves are brilliant and add wonderful dimension to this awesome uplifting image! I could almost feel the wind on my face while looking at this...swinging like this was one of my favorite things to do. Your sky in the back ground ROCKS and I will have to read up on the paper towel technique, maybe that is what has been missing from my ability to make clouds and a background as amazing as yours. I am very impressed with your copic coloring as well....LOVE LOVE LOVE this!
