I wanted to play along in my HYCCT challenge today and was thinking along the lines of coffee. I went to the inspiration site, Vietri for some color and pattern inspiration and found this pretty pitcher. I decided to do some doodling for the patterns so I started by scoring off some sections for the doodling and the paper. I used my grid lines and ruler to mark off the horizontal lines with my Espresso marker then filled in the pattern. I also drew the scallop. My paper was a piece of work surface saver paper that I'd cleaned up some brown acrylic paint by putting it through the dry wall mesh.I added gold and orange gelatos and blended with water. For my image panel I stamped the "you" cup first then masked over it and stamped my second coffee cup. I masked again to stamp my spatter in 3 different browns. I used More Mustard ink in the lid to watercolor my sleeves and lids. I hand wrote my names. I stamped my sentiment and it was too light. I used my stampamajig to stamp again and then embossed in Espresso. I ended up with a slight offset which gave a shadow effect that I ended up liking.

I love this. Your BG is fantastic, and your two coffees are the perfect take on the Challenge. Nothing like getting together over coffee with a friend :-)
