I stamped my images onto watercolor paper. I used my marker to add in a couple more stems and blooms in the center. I then followed Lydia's tutorial to do the stamp etching technique which is basically using a flicking motion with a fine point marker to add detail to an open line stamp image.
Today, I watercolored the images. I smooshed my ink pads onto a piece of acetate and added a bit of water and used a wet brush to watercolor the images. I spattered with the leftover inks. I fussy cut around this. I used spatter stamps to add spatter onto the base of the card. I used some of the watered down ink as well as stamping from the ink pads. I also carefully inked up the single sentiment and stamped it onto the base.
I have close ups of the etching process on this post as well as photos of the coloring on my blog.
