I must admit I "shopped" the inspiration challenge IC453 Vintage Atmosphere looking for something that would help me out with the last few DTGD challenges I haven't yet completed.
When I found this Vintage Fish Wall Pocket I knew I'd found something I could run with, but in the mean time I'd already seen these gorgeous Vintage Red Curtain Tiebacks, so I incorporated them too.
Red base.
White layer embossed, punched in the corners and fibre added.
Fish stamped on white card, embossed with clear EP and coloured with Perfect Pearls Pewter diluted with water - and some of it with a drop of black reinker. I then marked the area of the fish on the back of the card and lightly embossed the rest of it because having it flat was too much of a contrast with the heavily embossed base layer.
The frame was cut with Spellbinders squares and Labels 1. I sponged it with several distress inks to get a good strong red, then sponged some of the edges a bit with black. Embossed with clear EP and then added some gold with a leafing pen. Fish panel popped up on foam.
